"I discovered this hotel when searching on the www for somewhere to stay while on a business trip to Scotland. This is a fantastic place to stay, business or leisure. The hotel is part of a complex of bars and restaurants known as the 'Collective'. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful on arrival even taking time to show me around the place before I settled into my accommodation. The hotel part is relatively new and the rooms are stylish and modern with a good range of facilities.

Before dinner, I had a few pints in Harlem, which is a lively sports bar (perhaps not the place for an Englishman to be when his country is getting trounced by the Danes live on TV!). Dinner was at Ristorante Alberto which is the main eating place in the complex. I have always shied away from eating out at Italian restaurants in this country perhaps because I've been spoiled by the real thing at home. However, I have to say that dinner in Albertos has to rank as one of the best meals-out I've ever had. The food was absolutely spot-on and the portions were huge. I would suggest booking in advance even mid-week. I was there on Wednesday and I saw people being turned-away all evening. The place was heaving and the atmosphere was great. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves just as much as the customers!

This hotel is a model to all those would-be leisure developers. I hate nothing more than being the only guest in a massively under-utilised super-hotel.
